This is a simple product primarily aimed at preserving your back while working under your van. If you have a chassis mounted battery the bolt that secures the battery to box is a terror to work around as it protrudes from the box like a knife. This glide aims to smooth contact with the bolt and also helps preserve it offroad when struck. The installation is less than a minute with a 10mm socket and helps keep your back scar free
